2) Purpose and scope
This Legal Notice regulates the access and use of the Site. By browsing the Site, the user (“User”) accepts the provisions of this Legal Notice, the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, and the applicable Cookie Policy.
3) Intellectual and industrial property
3.1. All content on the Site (texts, images, photographs, logos, trademarks, videos, files, design, code) is protected by copyright, related rights, and industrial property rights of LUSILECTRA or third-party licensors.
3.2. Any reproduction, alteration, transformation, distribution, publication, download, transmission, display, or exploitation, in whole or in part, of the content without prior written authorization from LUSILECTRA or the legitimate owner is prohibited.
3.3. Use is permitted only for strictly personal and non-commercial purposes, keeping trademarks, notices, and rights mentions intact.
4) Content, accuracy, and updates
4.1. LUSILECTRA makes reasonable efforts to maintain correct and updated information (product features, prices, availability).
4.2. However, typos, errors, or omissions may occur. In case of an obvious error (e.g., manifestly incorrect price), LUSILECTRA may correct the information and cancel or adjust transactions, with refund when applicable, under the Terms of Service.
4.3. LUSILECTRA may change, suspend, or remove content, features, or the Site itself at any time without prior notice.
5) Liability and limitations
5.1. Access and use of the Site are at the User’s own risk. LUSILECTRA does not guarantee that the Site is free from interruptions, errors, viruses, or other harmful elements.
5.2. LUSILECTRA is not liable for damages or losses resulting from: (i) interruptions or failures of telecommunications/providers; (ii) misuse of the Site; (iii) purchase decisions based solely on Site content without further validation; (iv) external links and third-party content (see section 6).
5.3. Without prejudice to mandatory rules, LUSILECTRA’s liability for direct damages related to Site use is limited to the amount eventually paid by the User in the specific transaction.
6) Links to third-party sites
6.1. The Site may contain hyperlinks to third-party sites, provided solely for convenience.
6.2. LUSILECTRA does not control nor is responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those sites. Access is at the sole responsibility of the User, who should consult their respective terms and policies.
7) Acceptable use and prohibitions
7.1. The User agrees not to use the Site for illegal, harmful purposes or that prevent its normal operation, including (but not limited to): intrusion into systems, mass automated data extraction (scraping), spreading malware, attempting reverse engineering of non-public areas, sending illegal, defamatory, obscene content or content that violates third-party rights.
7.2. LUSILECTRA may block access to users who violate this Legal Notice or compromise the security/integrity of the Site.

8.1. Personal data processing is carried out under the Privacy and Personal Data Protection Policy available at www.lusitools.com/pages/politica-privacidade.

9) Security
9.1. LUSILECTRA adopts appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the Site and the data processed therein.

10) Online purchases
Purchase and sale operations carried out through the Site are governed by the Terms of Service and the Return and Refund Policy. In case of discrepancy between the general Site information and the contractual terms presented at checkout/order confirmation, the latter prevail.
11) Dispute resolution (consumers)
11.1. If the User is a consumer, they may resort to Alternative Dispute Resolution Entities (ADR) for disputes up to € 5,000 (list of centers available at the Directorate-General for the Consumer: consumidor.gov.pt/ral-mapa-e-lista-de-entidades).
11.2. The User may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution Platform (ODR): ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
12) Applicable law and jurisdiction
This Legal Notice is governed by Portuguese law. Without prejudice to mandatory rules applicable to consumers, the Portuguese court territorially competent shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes arising from the use of the Site.
13) Partial invalidity
The invalidity or ineffectiveness of any provision of this Legal Notice shall not affect the validity of the remaining clauses, which shall remain in full force.
14) Changes to the Legal Notice
LUSILECTRA may update this Legal Notice at any time. The applicable version is the one published on the Site at the date of each access.
